Festival 2026 has 3 venues that need volunteer hosts.
Our volunteer hosts are the friendly face of River of Art, helping visitors feel welcome and get the most from their festival experience.
You’ll greet visitors, answer simple questions about the exhibition or venue, point people towards other River of Art events and Arts Trail locations, and generally keep an eye on the space. You may also help with simple tasks such as handing out programs, directing visitors, recording attendance or assisting with artwork enquiries.
No arts experience is needed – we’ll provide all the information and guidance you need. It’s a relaxed, social role and a great way to meet artists, visitors and other members of our creative community.
We recognise that everyone brings different skills and interests. Wherever possible, we’ll work with you to tailor a volunteer role that is both rewarding and makes the best use of your experience.
