Travel to Moruya and the Eurobodalla
Drive: Moruya is two and a half hours’ drive hours from Canberra, and four hours’ drive from Sydney.
Fly: Regular flights from Sydney and Merimbula on the Sapphire Coast with Regional Express.
By coach: There are several coach services from Sydney, Canberra and Melbourne.
- Murray’s Coaches operate between Canberra and the Eurobodalla.
- Premier Motor Service operate between Melbourne and Cairns.
- Rixons operate locally with a door to door service to Canberra.
- V-Line off rail and coach combination between Melbourne and Batemans Bay (rail between Bairnsdale, Victoria and Melbourne)

Our towns and villages
Built around the coast and its waterways, Eurobodalla’s main hubs of Batemans Bay, Moruya and Narooma are separated by a 45 minute drive interspersed with smaller inland and coastal villages.
The River of Art Trail visits many of them with abundant opportunities to stay over, feast and blend arts with a restful and reviving holiday.
