Clay by the Sea – Robin Furner
My Tuross Head studio is surrounded by pattern and rhythm, grand norfolk pines, crashing waves, a tidal river and daily bird visits. All of this is embraced by the close yet distant magestical Gulaga under the moon in our big skies.
Thanks to the River of Art, I have been motivated to find a permanent gallery space in Tuross. The pots in the video and many others will be for sale in the Folktreez Gallerette window of the Tuross Hair and Beauty Salon right next to our IGA foodstore from the 1st November. All the opening hours and contact details will be in the window and on social media – I will post updates to advertise @folktreez.
Along with with the claywork a friend and I run another biz called Bannerbirdz – working with painted and sewn fabric and this will also be part of the Gallerette display, @bannerbirdz.
