River of Art is proud to be recognised as a finalist in the 2026 Eurobodalla Business Awards for Excellence in the Arts, following its finalist placing in the 2025 Outstanding Visitor Experience category.

These acknowledgements reflect the dedication of our volunteers, artists, partners and supporters who have helped grow River of Art into one of the NSW South Coast’s most significant cultural events.

This recognition is particularly meaningful at a time when arts organisations across Australia are facing an increasingly challenging funding environment. As opportunities for financial support continue to decline, community-led organisations like River of Art rely more than ever on the generosity of donors, sponsors, partners and volunteers who believe in the value of arts and culture.

At the heart of it all are the artists themselves. Their creativity, courage and willingness to share their work, ideas and stories are what bring the Festival to life each year. The arts enrich our communities in countless ways. They foster creativity and wellbeing, strengthen our sense of place and belonging, encourage dialogue and understanding, attract visitors, and contribute to the cultural and economic vitality of our region.
