Blurry Edges is a vibrant mixed media exhibition that invites viewers into a richly layered world where boundaries are softened and edges dissolve. This collection is an exploration of harmony through texture, colour, and the tension between structure and fluidity.
Each piece, though diverse in scale, colour scheme and subject matter, is united by a distinctive approach; one that blurs the lines – literally. Drawing from a wide array of materials including magazine clippings, tissue paper, book pages, feathers, shells, found photographs, glitter, lace, curling ribbon, and more, the works challenge the viewer’s perception of depth and form. Some works are playful with neon and partial phrases; others are quieter, more contemplative. All are bound by a common visual language of layered surfaces and softened contours.
