I have surrounded myself with colour and texture my entire life! My art is an expression of this. I approach my art as an exploration of steps, full of the vibrancy of colour with a focus on textural experimentation. I play with various mediums as I explore the canvas allowing my mood, interests and trust in the process to guide me to a finished work of art. To me, inspiration comes from our beautiful and enchanting Butterfly Splat Art Studio which is surrounded by the tranquil and breathtaking sights, sounds and smells of the beautiful South Coast! My life as a Visual Arts teacher has allowed me to instill the values of happy accidents and mistake making as a part of the creative process.
