Lizette Richards is a Tomakin-based silversmith and visual arts educator whose work is shaped by the rhythms of the South Coast. Working primarily in silver and other precious metals, she creates wearable and sculptural pieces that explore place, memory and the coastal landscape surrounding her seaside studio. Through casting, forging and etching, she blends traditional silversmithing with contemporary experimentation, often incorporating textiles and porcelain to set the hardness of metal against softer, more fragile materials.
