Lise Brosch is a local Artist from Bodalla on the Far South Coast of NSW. Since returning home in 2021, she has been steadily building a body of work that reflects both her inner world and the landscapes that surround her.
Lise’s work gained strong local attention following her freehand Glossy Black Cockatoo mural for Walawaani Way on the 2024 River of Art Festival Arts Trail. Painted without a grid or digital assistance, the piece reflects her intuitive approach and commitment to process.
For the 2025 River of Art Festival, Lise presented her first exhibition, The Rock Between, at the Bodalla Stables. This body of work focused on En plein air painting, with Lise working outdoors across the local region and carrying all her materials into each location. This exhibition was a collaboration with her mother Jennyrose, local Artist and Leather Designer.
