I have had a career in Visual Arts for over thirty years as Publications Editor at the National Gallery of Australia and later, Editor of Art & Australia quarterly magazine. I have also written a number of art books including a monograph on Wendy Stavrianos, published by Craftsman House; was Co-editor with Nevill Drury of Australian Painting Now; and wrote Awesome: Australian Art for Contemporary Kids, both also published by Craftsman House.
As well as writing numerous catalogue essays and articles on artists and art exhibitions, I have edited many art books; most recently, in collaboration with Emily Rolfe, the Campbelltown Arts Centre publication Luke Sciberras, Side of the Sky.
Now retired, I enjoy photographing my local area, mainly at Wimbie Beach on the South Coast of NSW.
