After the 2019 bushfires in Batemans Bay, I have transformed tragedy into artistic rebirth.
Losing all of my old art, I found a new path forward through joining local art groups. Where I discovered a fresh passion for pastels at a workshop, leading to a vibrant exploration of mystical themes. My pastel works, especially the butterflies, reflect a journey of healing and discovery.
From early scribbles as a child to drawing through my school years and a then a foray into photography, my journey has always been intertwined with nature.My story, from loss to a new artistic vision, showcases the power of art to heal and inspire.
