I have lived a life immersed in art: my art practice is a compulsive and unavoidable action. I see art as a way of examining our world and how we live, and I have a long history of making, teaching and writing about art.
My work currently explores our experience of the non-human world and our entanglements with nature.
Currently across various forms, I like to allow myself to be driven by the actions and habits of elements such as water, pigment and earth to create paintings and ceramics to investigate the oceanic realm and our historical relations with the sea.
