Inspired by the quiet significance of everyday relics and themes of impermanence and preservation.

Bridgette Ferrier is a painter exploring two distinctive styles, flowing between abstraction and still life. Each piece is guided by what resonates most in the moment, shifting between ethereal fields of colour and carefully rendered objects, often drawn from her own collected artifacts (Shells, vessels, and other quiet keepsakes that hold traces of memory and place).

she hints at themes of impermanence, preservation, and the quiet significance of everyday relics. Nature and lived experience also shape her process, leading to compositions that feel both fleeting and anchored in the conservation of the the tangible and the intangible.
