Borrowed bones created by Ashlee Jones is a collection of wearable art made using lost wax casting process in celebration of the natural world.
The making of these shiny objects helps me ground myself in my creativity and connect to community amongst the ebb and flow of parenting young children.
Natural objects collected by friends & family on beach tracks with my kids during our daily sway back & forth between home & the ocean, a simple ritual that keeps us all sane. We return home with pockets full of sand and interesting objects to be scattered across the house and later arranged and transformed into jewellery in the rare quiet moments.
