We’re thrilled to once again be part of the Narooma Oyster Festival – the biggest food and wine celebration in southern NSW!
You’ll find the River of Art team just inside the main gate – this year we’re back with our beloved Pink Cube Gallery, showcasing a curated selection of artworks from talented finalists of the 2024 Art Prize. It’s your chance to discover and take home something special.
One of the weekend’s most magical moments happens on Friday night – don’t miss Bioluminescence, a breathtaking live digital show beamed straight from atop the Pink Cube lighting up Friday night!

Mark your calendars, bring your appetite (and your curiosity!), and get ready for an unforgettable weekend of art, oysters, music, and events, something for everyone.
Bioluminescence – where art, nature and science meet
Scott Baker heads this exciting project delivering, through a series of workshops, creative and practical skills. A group of brilliant students from Narooma High School, will create video projections from images of nature gathered from their local environment. Their hands-on learning brings together a range of skills from using camera technology, live video projection mapping and event management including safety and logistics.
The result? A dazzling celebration of light, nature, and young talent lighting up Friday night.

Stay on-site in the comfort of Mystery Bay Cottages, or, for locals, join the retreat as a day participant and experience the inspiration of an art retreat right in your own backyard!
Join Tutors Simone Kirkwood and Dr Anne Babington in this inspiring 5 day 4 night retreat in the stunning surrounds of Mystery Bay
Through guided exercises you will explore technique to build and further develop your artistic voice, at the conclusion all participants will be invited to exhibit work at The River of Art Festival held over 11 days in September/October 2025.
