BARANUGUBA – Tickets Now on Sale

Tickets are now on sale for Baranguba, a captivating performance by the Djaadjawan Dancers telling one of the stories of the First People of Noorooma, at the Yuin Theatre, Bay Pavilions, Batemans Bay on 4-5 October 2024.

Baranguba is a unique fusion of modern technology and traditional practices, conveying a story of resilience, pride and strength that will touch the hearts and souls of all who attend.

Performed by the Djaadjawan Dancers, accompanied by the technical artistry of creative director Scott Baker and motion graphics artist Duncan Irving, and technical team Visumotus, Baranguba is a highlight of the 2024 River of Art program.

Join us for an information session for artists and performers participating in this years River of Art Festival

The River of Art is taking entries from artists, creatives, groups and organisations. Get your entry in by 30th August.
If you’re considering joining the program – whether it be a workshop, open studio, exhibition or performance – come along to this information session to learn more and see how you can be a part of this exciting event!

This is your opportunity to collect essential signage and information sheets, get answers to any questions you may have, and network with fellow artists and the event organisers.

Art prize

River of Art Prize and Festival Launch

Congratulations and thank you to all the artists who submitted entries for the River of Art Prize. We reached a new record number of entries!

Our hard-working team is preparing the entries to send to our judges who will decide on the finalists. Works will be shown at the Narooma Gallery from 27th September when the winners will be announced.

Join us for the Festival launch at the Narooma Gallery from 5.00pm on Friday 27th September. There’ll be food and drinks, music and the much-anticipated announcement of the Art Prize winners for 2024. Let us know if you’re interested so we can cater!
