Three arts and information hubs will be open from 17-20 May – Eurobodalla Botanic Gardens just south of Batemans Bay, the Air Raid Tavern in Moruya, and Club Narooma.
Visit us at these locations to catch art exhibitions and performances. Talk to our volunteers about what’s on, where and when.
Make your own way along the River of Art Trail – from Durras in the north to Bermagui in the south. Discover paintings, pastels, sculptures, woodcarvings, photography, textiles, mosaics, jewellery and so much more.
Open Studios – Go behind the scenes to meet local artists in the quirky and often secluded places where they work. Find out what inspires them to create their unique artworks.
Art on Parade – Your invitation to wander through our small, picturesque townships. Delightful pop-up galleries come to life all over Eurobodalla as artists showcase their works in local shopfronts, cafés and businesses.
Festival Opening and River of Art 2018 Art Prize – Thursday 17 May
The festival opens with the prestigious $2000 River of Art 2018 Art Prize, awarded by a panel of judges at the SoArt Gallery in Narooma. All artworks will be exhibited in Narooma from 18 May to 2 June.
River of Art Land of Many Waters Exhibition – 17- 20 May
This new exhibition – at River of Art hubs – presents an opportunity to see a group show that reflects what our landscape means to our artists. There will be works for sale and a Peoples’ Choice award.
Creators Bazaar – Saturday 19 May
Browse through a treasure trove of artworks and chat to our creators at Moruya Markets. Picnic with friends and family by the river as you enjoy tasty treats and lively performances.
