Entries now open for River of Art Festival

Visual and performing artists organisations and individuals can now register to showcase their creative talents as part of the 2019 Festival. The River of Art Festival runs from 17 to 27 May 2019.

Most events will be held on the two weekends bookending the Festival. The final weekend will coincide with the Reconciliation Day long weekend in Canberra.

The Festival will open with an exhibition at the new Basil Sellers art space adjacent to the Eurobodalla Council Chambers and will end with the Busking Championships in Narooma a week later.

The Festival comprises over 100 events including Art on Parade, Open Studios and the art trail from Durras to Tilba.

“There are many new and exciting events on the horizon and lots of ideas.  Everyone is welcome to be part of this community Festival,” said Robin Scott-Charlton, Co-Chair of the 2019 event.

“We again expect singing, dancing, fashion parades, workshops, exhibitions, music gigs, art prizes, makers markets – loads of colour and movement up and down the coast”, said Di Jay, Robin’s fellow Co-Chair.

“Its so exciting watching the ideas roll in and all that starts right now in preparation for the big gig in May next year”, said Robin.
