Hilde Knottenbelt, Creative Voice Workshop

Creative Voice Workshop

An exciting workshop where participants have the opportunity to explore connections between voice, body, breath and the imagination.

Through a playful, multi-layered approach to improvised singing, you develop the courage to experiment with others and extend the expressive possibilities of the human voice. Participants in this workshop have the opportunity to explore connections between voice, body, breath, and the imagination.

Over the two days, participants are introduced to the basic elements of improvised singing including melody, harmony, text, pulse and vocal percussion. The ‘songs of the moment’ that evolve out of this process are a distinctive living expression of the life of the group and the individuals within it. This workshop is normally only available in the capital cities at three times the cost. It is a very special experience and lots of fun.
