Art Central Moruya: Disability Trust Art Group

Art Central and the Disability Trust run a weekly art group with people in the local area who are living with a disability. This group exhibition has painting, drawing and photography that represent our local community and reflect favourite people and places. It culminates a process to show the collective identity within the local area. Post festival it will be permanently displayed at the local library.

Collage Project

The Eurobodalla libraries are displaying a collage collection of images depicting youth issues. These images are made by local young people between 12 and 17 years old who attend Eurobodalla Shire Council’s youth cafes.

School of Possibilities

Beat Garden music project – A wild and sometimes beautiful percussion-based rhythmic improvised performance at the Botanic Garden.

Beat Garden is the local CASP (Country Arts Support Program) funded music project for people with physical and learning disabilities, in partnership with disabilities led, Sydney-based ‘Outlandish Arts’.  A workshop and performance will involve new coding technologies and electronic music, exploring innovative options to traditional music expectations.

Maz Raynsford uses acrylic high flow paints sealed in resin to give a fluid effect to her works. The resin seals the piece on canvas, timber coat hook, timber bowl or placemats, enhancing the pigments in the paint and giving an everlasting low effect.

A wacky exhibition of unique handmade beanies created by textiles artists from up and down the South Coast. All beanies you see here will be off on their journey to the Alice Spring Beanie Festival exhibition in June 2018. South Coast Beanies Represented!

Take part in a zany beanie workshop with Marg Hansen. Create your very own unique beanie to keep your head warm this winter. All skill levels/ages welcome.
